START WHEN YOU ARE ON THE INFIELD BY LIFTING THE MAT OFF AND UNROLLING IT BEHIND THE TRACTOR, IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN DISCONNECTED BY THE PREVIOUS USER. LEAVE ENOUGH ROOM TO LIFT THE PLATE DOWN. 4. CONNECT THE MAT TO THE PLATE AND DRAG THE INFIELD. 5. DRAG THE WHOLE INFIELD, AVOIDING CONTACT WITH THE FENCE 6. AVOID THE BASE PLUGS, PITCHING RUBBER, AND HOME PLATE AS THE BOLTS ON THE DRAG PLATE WILL CAUSE DAMAGE. THESE AREAS MUST BE RAKED AND LEVELED BY HAND. 7. IF EXCESS MATERIAL BUILDS UP ON THE MAT, STOP IN A LOW SPOT AND SHAKE THE MATERIAL OFF THE MATT BY GRABBING IT AT THE BACK AND SHAKING IT LIKE A BEDSHEET. 8. WHEN YOU ARE FINISHED DRAGGING, STOP THE TRACTOR AT THE EDGE OF THE INFIELD, BUT STILL ON THE INFIELD. 9. DISCONNECT THE MAT FROM THE DRAG PLATE, SHAKE IT OUT AND ROLL IT UP FROM THE REAR TO THE FRONT. 10. TURN THE DRAG PLATE UPSIDE DOWN BY ROLLING IT OVER TOWARDS THE TRACTOR. CLEAN THE BOTTOM OF THE PLATE WITH THE WIRE BRUSH. 11. LIFT THE PLATE INTO THE RACK, RIGHT SIDE UP AND NOSE FIRST. THEN PLACE THE ROLLED UP MAT ON TOP. TRY TO CENTER BOTH THE PLATE AND THE MAT ON THE TRACTOR TO PREVENT IT FALLING OFF. |
